Also while off track we went to the Aquarium. It was our first time there. It was amazing. I didn't think it was going to be that interesting and cool for the kids. But it was. They had a lot of fun there. We also took Grandma Moore and two cousins, Kyra and Jayden. The aquarium was well worth the drive down.

Lights!!

We rode the Front Runner down to Salt Lake and then the Trax train to Temple Square. It started snowing while we were down there. It was just beautiful. The kids had a good time and were sad when we couldn't go see Jesus. We reassured them that we would go down again and spend some time in the visitor's center to look around and see Him.

Ice Skating

While the kids were off track, Dave and I decided to take the kids ice skating in Bountiful. It was a lot of fun. Dave did awesome. I just held on to the side. I think it was the second time ever that I had been ice skating. I didn't do very well. The kids had a lot of fun and want to go again soon. So I guess that is a good sign.

Santa

The kids were excited to visit with Santa and mail their letters this year. It was fun to see how excited they were about the whole Christmas experience.

Dirty Dash Again

Dave and the kids ran the Dirty Dash again this past September. It was a fun day. Several of our good friends went as well. The kids did great except for the cold showers at the end!

Tys 6th BDay

Ty turned 6 this past September. We had friends come over to help celebrate.

This picture doesn't do it justice. Everyone just rode their bikes over and parked them on the lawn. It was fun to see how many there were.

Summer

At the Moore reunion, the kids got their faces painted. They thought that it was pretty cool!

We went to a Raptor's baseball game with our good friends, the Flint's. The kids also scored new bike helmets.

This year was a big year. Ty is in Kindergarten!!! Wow. I can't believe my baby is in school. Abbey is in the 3rd grade and Jace in 2nd.

Yellowstone

What can I say about Yellowstone besides WOW!!! What an amazing park. We were able to see most of the Park. It was incredible. I hadn't been there before and Dave was really little when he went. So it was new for all of us. We would stay at a different cabin each night, so the kids thought that was pretty cool. Just entering into the park we were able to see a mama black bear with her two cubs. There were lots of buffalo. The kids did pretty good since we broke it up into four days. It was amazing.

Jackson July

Sorry I haven't put anything new up for about 7 months. I will be updating this in the next few days.
As a family we went to Jackson Hole on our way to Yellowstone. We are under the famous antler arch. It is quite impressive. While there, we were also able to go see the Bar J Wranglers perform. It was funny. The kids had a good time.

St. George

Abbey's Princess Dance Recital

Abbey was a "Princess" this year in her dance rectial. She ddi a great job. Her teacher was fabulos. She performed three times and did awesome.

Abbey was baptized by her father on March 5, 2011. What a great example she is to me and her brothers. We had lots of friends and family that came to support her on this wonderful day.

Real Soccer Game

We had the opportunity of going to the Real soccer game on Saturday. Dave and I weren't sure how the kids would do, since it was a 7pm start time. But the kids surprised us and had a wonderful time.

It was a lot of fun. Jace asked me if he would be able to play for Real and be in the World Cup. I said if he continued to practice and do good in school that he might be able to. Real won 2-0!! Such a great game.

Abbey and Jace started school on the 11th of August. Abbey is in Mrs. Schofield's second grade class and Jace is in Mrs. Love's first grade class. They both are enjoying school. Antelop Island

This past weekend, we took our family to Antelop Island. It was a lot of fun. The boys had fun kicking the soccer ball around and climbing trees at the ranch. Abbey was content sitting and drawing pictures. It was a nice day.

This is Mousey. He is our new kitten. The kids love him to death. They just can't decide who gets to hold him when. Mousey has a very mild temperment and does well with the kids. Hopefully, the kids will get used to him soon and not fight over him so much.

Disneyland

Yes, we have been slackers. While Abbey and Jace were off track in March we decided to go to Disneyland. We had so much fun. The kids had a blast,except for Space Mountain. Here is a priceless picture of them just getting off the ride.

Here are the kids with their faces painted. Ty was so cute to roar like a tiger and bring out his "claws". Jace was also a tiger, and Abbey had a Unicorn mask done. Lasted for a about 5 hours.

Santa

Here are the kids decorating the Christmas tree. They were so excited to do it. I can't believe that it entertained them for so long.

Our ward, had Santa come and visit the kids at our ward Christmas party. The kids were so excited to sit on his lap and tell him want they want for Christmas. It was so fun to see them so excited. Here is a picture of each of them on Santa's lap.

The kids also wanted to write letters to Santa. So Abbey helped her brothers make their lists of toys for Christmas and we went to Macy's to mail them in their mailbox for Santa. The kids thought that was the coolest thing to do. They keep asking if I think Santa has gotten the letters yet. If I was only young again.

Halloween 09

This year for Halloween our ward did a trunk-or-treat. The kids really like this; they get to see all their friends at one place. It was a lot of fun. Jace and Ty were able to dress up for school.

U2 Concert

The main reason to go to Vegas, was to go to see U2 in concert. It was one of Dave's life goals to see them in concert. It was the best concert I've gone to. We enjoyed ourselves probably a little too much.The stage was amazing, looking like a spaceship.

We didn't take the kids, Grandma Lou and Papa came out to be with them. We did go with two other couples that are our good friends. It made the trip so much more enjoyable with them around.Jeff and Sarah Flint

Both Abbey and Jace started school this year. Abbey is in first grade with Mrs. Waters as her teacher. Jace is in Kindergarten with Mrs. Jacobs as his teacher. They love school. Currently, though, we are off track right now.

Swimming Lessons

This summer we decided to put the kids in swimming lessons. They have had a great time and have made tons of improvement. Ty is the one on the bottom doing a back stroke. Thank you Laci for teaching our children!!! They have had a blast.

Saturday was a day that the kids went outside to run through the sprinklers. They had a blast. It was still a little cold, but well worth it.

It was funny to see them dry off and try and get warm on the cement.

Jace had a wonderful birthday on Saturday the 2nd of May. I love him with all of my heart. He is so soft hearted and has so much energy. I love snuggling with him in the mornings, cause I know that won't last long. He is so sensitive and protective of his siblings, most of the time.

Friday, we took ourselves and a couple of Jace's friends, Easton Rose and Landon Chapman to the Kangaroo Zoo. Such an awesome place. The kids ran wild. And were so worn out by the end of two hours. Jace wanted a Batman cake, so here is it. just the symbol it's all I could do.

He had a lot of fun with all the friends coming over for cake and ice cream. His soccer game was cancelled along with some other plans for Saturday. But, his good friend Spencer Barker and his family came over for a BBQ and brownies with a spider web on it this time. So much for action heros.

I love this weather. It is so wonderful to have the kids play outside for a change. They have loved being in the cul-de-sac, that way they can just go crazy in the front yard. (It is more excited out front than the back.) This year has been fun especially to see what will pop up next. The new home is great that way. The previous owners had the yard professionally landscaped and they have all sorts of fun spring flowers. Happy spring to everyone!!!

Abbey's 6th Birthday

Well, Abbey turned 6 yesterday. I just can't believe it. I love Abbey so much. I am grateful for her help with the boys and the house. It is amazing how fast she is growing up. I hope she had a wonderful day. Abbey went to school-there they sang to her and she received a present from her teacher. We went to lunch to Wendy's with the Oby cousins. It was a lot of fun. Last of all she had some neighborhood friends over for cake and ice cream. She is very grateful for the presents that was given to her.

Abbey's Concert

New House!!!

I don't know if all of you know, but we were able to sell our old house and move into our new home on 50 W. It is just down the street from our previous house. We love it. We have so much room now. I still don't know what to do with all of it.

We also want to thank all of those who helped us move. We appreciate it a lot. Thanks again. I will try and stay a bit more in touch now that we are pretty much settled.

Thanksgiving

This year we went out to Myton, where Makele is from. There was around 22 of us, but we had a great time. What a wonderful time to think of all our blessings and what God has given us on a daily basis. It is awesome to think how indebted we are for all our blessings. The kids had fun playing with their cousins. We also finished sheet rocking the inside of dad's garage. It was alot of hard work, but the guys were able to do it. We are so blessed. We had very healthy children, Dave has a wonderful job that allows me to stay home. Our life is relatively good. The gospel is an important part of our lives, and the Savior is our foundation. Sorry about the rambling, I will end now. Happy Thanksgiving.

Abbey's Fall Program

Abbey had her first program at school. There was just the kindergarten classes that participated. They sang a lot of songs. Abbey did a good job. It was weird at how proud I was to see her up on stage with her class. It was very well done. She was such a cute pilgrim.

Union Station

This past Friday we went to the Union Station in Ogden. Dave had the day off, so we decided to take a look and see if the kids would enjoy it. Surprising enough the kids really had a fun time. They enjoyed playing with the trains and getting to sit in a caboose. It was a lot of fun. A lot to see and do.

Helping with the garage

We had the opportunity to go and help Papa & Grandma Lou, Makele's parents. Papa is building a double car garage attached to their house. Dave was brave enough to fail every OSHA procedure possible. Ty, who had been begging to get in the bucket as well, ended up going for a ride.The kids enjoyed throwing apples to the cows, who love apples. They could have done that all day. It was freezing cold out there so we decided to have some smores in the middle of the day. The kids had fun roasting their own marshmallows.
Oh what great fun we had. Thanks papa and grandma.

Well, this year we had a great time. Jace and Abbey were able to dress up for their school's parties. They had a wonderful time. It was fun to let them make a couple of days out of it, so it wasn't just a few hours. The kids were Belle, Spiderman, and "Boots the monkey".

We love the Trunk-or-Treat at the ward. There was tons of candy. Now that we have taken it all away out of their reach, we feel a little better.

Leaves

Yesterday Dave was raking up the leaves in our front yard. The kids decided it would be fun to run in them. Our neighbors were also outside and their kids came over to join in the fun. Kelsi and Gabe Flint along with our children had a blast. It was fun to just sit and watch them.
When we were gathering up the leaves and putting them in a bag, Abbey said,"now we get our grass back." I thought that was cute. It's amazing how the mind of a five year old works.

Sunday, the 19th, we had our family pictures taken at the Layton City Park. We had a great time. The kids did fairly well. They didn't fight us too bad. Jen, who took our pictures, did a wonderful job and was very quick.

Ty's 3rd BDay

Ty Daniel turned 3 on the 14 Sept. I can't believe how time has flown by. He is getting so big. Ty and Jace helped make the birthday cake and enjoyed licking the bowl clean. We had some friends over on the Friday before, and then family came on Sunday, his birthday. He received so many fun toys. He enjoyed playing with all the kids and the new toys. Ty on Uncle Tysen's lap opening his transformer on Sunday. We love Ty and are grateful he is apart of our family.

Jace recently started playing soccer. The first game he was a little bit shy and wanted his dad to hold his hand the entire time. But with each new game, his confidence is growing. He made a goal two weeks ago. Saturday's are the best thing to look forward to. He loves it.

Zarahemla

This past weekend we were able to go up to Morgan to some church property called Zarahemla. Dave's mom had her Ward camp out and invited us and his sister Amy to come up on Saturday. The kids had an awesome time just being able to run outside. We had lunch and decide to play in the river. They have a rope swing tied to a big tree. It was a lot of fun. The kids really had a fun time. We couldn't tear them from the river or the swing.

Our little girl starts Kindergarten

Abbey started kindergarten at Lincoln Elementary this past month. So far she has done really well and is writing her numbers, letters, and even names. She writes on everything she can get her hands on. Her teacher is Mrs. Jacobs and she really likes her and her other classmates. When asked about kindergarten Abbey indicates that “I like playing with my new friends the most”.

One day after school Abbey told her mother that Heavenly Father had answered her prayer to have friends at school. This was really awesome because it not only shows us that Abbey is growing up fast, but that she also understands her relationship with Heavenly Father and that she can pray to him when ever she wants.. Abbey is really starting to understand who she is. Needless to say it really choked her mother up.

July 4th

For the 4th of July, we went out to Myton to visit Grandma and Papa Fausett. We had a wonderful time seeing family. Kenyon, Tysen and their families were there as well.(Makele's brothers) We were able to go to our first Ute Tribe Pow Wow. The kids were amazed at all the different colors of the Indian dress. It was a lot of fun. We also went up to another small town, Neola for their Parade. It was small, but we were at the first and the kids scored a bunch of candy. The guys were able to put in a fire pit in the backyard. The kids were able to roast marsh mellows and make smores. They had a lot of fun getting smelly and dirty.
Abbey and Ty were excellent horse riders. While Jace just wanted to help Papa at the farm.

Family Vacation

For our vacation this summer we decided to stay home and do fun things around town. On Monday we went to Hungry Bear Pizza where the kids ate and played video games. That night we rode front runner and trax down to the Bees baseball game. On Tuesday, the kids enjoyed bowling and playing at the Kangaroo Zoo. It was a blast for the kids. We stayed there for about three hours. Wednesday we ventured to Park City to ride on the Alpine Slide and Coaster. The kids had a wonderful time. Dinner at Wendy's ended our small vacation. It was wonderful to just spend time as a family.

Park City

We had a wonderful time in Park City. The kids and I stayed a week. Dave was able to stay for a few days as well. Grandma and Papa Fausett have a timeshare and invited us to spend the week with them. At the Resort, they have a game and activity room for the kids to go and play and do arts and crafts. This helped pass time during the day as well as swimming alot. It was still a bit chilly, but it was fun. Thanks grandma and papa for such a wonderful time.

Jace's BDay

Jace turned 4 on May 2nd. We had several of his friends over that night to help celebrate. During the day we went to the Dinosaur Park up Ogden Canyon. His grandma and papa Fausett were able to go with us as well as, Aunt Amy and cousins Kyra and Jayden. We had a wonderful time there. For lunch we went to the wonderful Wendy's. We all had a great time. We love you Jace!!!

We ventured out to Myton for Easter weekend. The kids were able to feed the horses and see the new baby calves. They really had a wonderful time.

We had an egg hunt out in the backyard. There was plenty for everyone. It was a little bit chilly from the wind, but it turned out just fine.

The kids also did the color the eggs thing. There was alot to choose from, but they had a wonderful time.

The kids were able to meet with the Easter Bunny and play games over at the local grocery store.

We all had a wonderful time this weekend and hope you did too.

Tree house Museum

This past weekend, we ventured to the Tree house Museum in Ogden. It was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed playing in all the different areas. The museum has a wonderful variety of places to "go" and things to do. We recommend it to anyone. Just beware of lots of children!!

Abbey's BDay

We had a wonderful Christmas. The kids had a lot of fun playing with all their new toys. We, also, tried to focus on others and the Savior. Both Dave and I believe we accomplished those two things. Our Savior is the reason for the season as a popular country song puts it. As a family were able to visit Dave's mom before heading out to the great metropolis of Myton. The kids enjoyed being with Grandma Moore. She always has a great story to read. We, then ventured out to where Makele is from. It was about 15 degrees cooler, so we stayed inside most of the time. The kids enjoyed baking cookies for Santa. It was messy, but fun.
Christmas morning was a lot of fun with the kids. They seemed to enjoy their presents. They spent the rest of the day playing. We had a wonderful time.
As we are now in the new year of 2008, we hope that you will join us in thinking of being a little bit better this year. Try and follow through with your new goals, for they will make you stronger and hopefully closer to our Savior.

We are not sure what we are doing here so please hang in there. The Moore family still lives in our home in Layton, just North and East of the Layton Hills Mall. Dave is still working for ATK just down the street. He justifies working late, with not having to drive very far. He enjoys doing his own spreadsheets here at home and playing with the kids. Makele stays at home with our three wonderful children. She keeps busy entertaining the children and cleaning the house.

Abbey, who is 4, goes to Preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is such a little mom. The two boys just worship her. They do and say whatever she tells them to say or do. She loves to collect little treasures that she finds just about anywhere, in the street or even the store floor.
Jace, 3, has recently been potty trained. We are so excited for him. He is doing such a great job in helping his younger brother, Ty, to talk. Jace is our very active child. He jumps down the stairs, off the couches, and even the counter tops. He loves to just play and run and jump everywhere.
Ty, now 2, is learning to talk. Everyday he tries to say new words. He is doing a lot better. About three months ago he had tubes put into his ears, and tonsils taken out. We believe his progress is the result of these two surgeries. He loves to do whatever his older sister and brother are doing. He also loves books. He will just sit and read.
